State -Civil Society Dynamics during War and Peace in Sri Lanka and Nepal
This paper analyses the dynamics of state – civil society relations during periods of conflict, peace activity, and failure of peace efforts in Sri Lanka and Nepal. It is an outcome based on extensive interviews with personnel from humanitarian agencies in Sri Lanka and Nepal during the past five years (2008-2013), analyses the dynamics of state – civil society relations during periods of conflict, peace activity, and failure of peace efforts.
